Teacher Training Courses & Qualifications
The DET qualification is being phased out in favour of the new "DIT" Diploma in Teaching.
Though some organisations are still allowing registrations for the DET, you would no longer be eligible for the QTLS programme if you started their DET course after the 1st September 2024. The only college-based route to QTLS is now the Level 5 Diploma in Teaching.
